Thank you for your interest in volunteering for this fun and challenging event. Each year, more than 100 volunteers are involved in the Climb for Wilderness event; from initial planning to cleaning up the last detail, weeks after the event is over. We are excited to have you join our enthusiastic team, and help us make this an extremely successful event for Alberta Wilderness Association.
In appreciation of your time, all volunteers receive a special volunteer Climb for Wilderness T-Shirt and an enjoyable experience in support of Alberta wilderness, wildlife and wild waters.
The Climb for Wilderness raises funds for the ongoing conservation work of AWA. Each volunteer’s participation means we will be able to create a greater awareness of wilderness in Alberta, how important it is to all of us, and how we can protect it for generations to come.
If you are interested in volunteering please complete our application form with an expression of your interest. We are fortunate that our slate of volunteers is nearly complete at this time and new volunteers are being added to a standby list.
